Club Rooms
Single and double accommodation situated on the fifth floor and facing the quiet interior garden with diamond-shaped sky-lights. There is a possibility of two separate beds in the room. These comfortable rooms are contemporary designed and feature parquet flooring, white-off furniture, burgundy silky embroidered Volga linens from Russia with bedspreads, curtains and cushions. The built-in wardrobe is spacious.
A comfortable armchair and glass table by the window is an ideal place to relax. The writing desk has computer and modem sockets within easy access.
Each room is air-conditioned and offer satellite television, safe, direct dial telephone, mini-bar tea/coffee facilities. Telephone is located beside the bed, on the desk. All phones are connected to a voicemail system.
The bathrooms filled with Italian marble vanity units and glass shelving. All bathrooms have hand and power showers, and are supplied with toiletries, bathrobes and slippers.

Bars and Restaurants

Stefano Balduccio, the new chef at Borsalino, presents his menu of classical Italian cooking and guests now have the opportunity to try traditional dishes from more than ten Italian provinces, including Piedmont, Umbria, Naples, Sicily, Sardinia, Genoa and Palermo.

A true Italian dish, Stefano believes, is classical, simple, and for the recipe to be authentic, has to be cooked strictly according to its regional origin, right down to the use of ingredients from that particular region. Food lovers can enjoy Fillet of Swordfish alla Siciliana, Insalata Toscana, Veal Milanese and for dessert, Cannoli and Cassata.

In the evenings, from 8pm till 1am, our resident singer performs jazz and the blues.

Adjacent to Borsalino is the Gallery, which has the most stunning views of any place in St Petersburg, overlooking the magnificent St Isaac's Cathedral. The new Caviar Bar at the Angleterre Hotel in St Petersburg is the latest addition to the city's buzzing social scene. Designed with the stylish flair of Olga Polizzi, the Caviar Bar is set to become a favourite with the city's movers and shakers.

The split-level bar boasts unrivalled views of the magnificent St Isaacs Square, providing the perfect setting for a cool glass of Champagne and some delicious caviar. The bar is decorated in a striking black and red colour scheme of which the focal point is the large black marble bar flanked by black leather bar stools. The bar area is framed by two silver and black geometric panels that highlight the extensive range of cocktails and drinks on offer.

Breaking with tradition, the Caviar Bar specialises in Champagne and caviar, over the traditional vodka, and boasts an extensive range of the finest Russian caviar and French and Italian Champagnes. The Hotel Angleterre's delicious signature cocktail is a must, which is made up of cointreau, Champagne and cranberry juice.

Chefs Colin Flood and Stefano Baluccio have created a delicious range of bar snacks including Kamshatka crab salad with celeriac remoulade, large king prawns with garlic dressing, half cold lobster with spicy noodles and tomato salsa, four types of Russian caviar and a fine oyster selection.

The Caviar Bar is located on the ground floor of the Angleterre Hotel and open daily from noon to 2.00.

Meetings

We offer a full range of conference facilities. Our conference hall -- designed to hold any type of meeting, conference, congress, or concert -- seats up to 205 people and is well-equipped with up-to-date audiovisual equipment. We also operate several smaller rooms: a meeting room which accommodates 12 people, a banquet room for 20, and the Esenin room which seats 25. Our business centre provides a full range of secretarial services, and our guests are welcome to use the computers, typewriters, telex, copiers, and fax machines.

Arrival at Angleterre Hotel

We strongly recommend our own transfer service for arrival transfers to the hotel to avoid problems of quality and overcharging – St Petersburg airport terminals have many taxi services with varying standards of price and quality. We will advise a meeting point, meet you with a sign board and transfer you directly to your hotel promptly and efficiently.
